In my spare time, I’m actively involved with my local GAA club, regularly playing handball and coaching juveniles within the club. I try to go surfing as often as the Irish weather permits.

Seán in the spotlight

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

In Donegal, with a few friends, surfing and warming up with a pint of Guinness by the fire afterwards.

My favourite holiday destination is:

Chamonix France. As a keen skier, this is somewhere I try to get to as often as work and budget will allow.

My favourite song to play in the car is:

There’s plenty but “If You See Her, Say Hello” by Bob Dylan gets played regularly.

The first album I bought was:

I saved my pocket money to buy “Be Here Now” by Oasis.

If I could be any fictional character, I would be:

Happy Gilmore

If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

Sleeping through my alarm

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

Chocolate

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

Enthusiasm, wit & honesty

My pet peeve is:

Corporate language

The best gift I’ve ever received is:

As I write this during the coronavirus lockdown, I’m very grateful for the coffee machine I recently received to keep me caffeinated.

The three people at my dream dinner party would be:

Mick O’Dwyer the legendary Gaelic football player and manager, Warren Buffett and Tommy Tiernan for the craic.

The three small things that make my day better are:

Morning coffee and a session in the gym or handball court with a few training mates.
