About Mark

Mark began working in the financial services industry 25 years ago.

He has had a thoroughly varied career and has gained significant experience including the financing of self-build /new build projects, advising first time buyers on the house purchase & mortgage process. Mark is also very active in the income protection market, particularly for self-employed clients.

Mark has been married for 17 years with 3 daughters since moving to live in Ireland in 2002.

He is a lifelong Notts County fan, 9ish handicap golfer & boot camp enthusiast.

In his spare time listen to varied eclectic types of music & particularly love live music / concerts etc.

Mark enjoys regular golf at Warrenpoint GC at the weekends & above all love spending time with the family & the 3 girls, particularly in the summer time away in the caravan around Ireland.

Mark in the spotlight

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

Mostly on a Saturday throughout the year on the golf course, supporting the girls at their football or karate competitions or in the sunshine (occasionally) with the family enjoying what the Irish countryside If I’m back visiting my folks then catching up with mates at a Notts County game

My favourite holiday destination is:

The Antrim coastline, Donegal & Galway. Further afield so many places on bucket list to visit that haven’t experienced yet. Portugal is a beautiful country though.

My favourite song to play in the car is:

Impossible to answer that question, depends on the day/mood/weather etc. Prince who is my personal favourite artist of all time

The first album I bought was:

1st Black Sabbath album or something by Elvis Presley.

If I could be any fictional character, I would be:

Randall P McMurphy from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest

If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

Talking a good game of golf…

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

Knowing that the girls are happy & healthy, helping a client realise their house move & coffee..
